Hello, AJS is rarely seen in Japan. However, I am very much interested in AJS. And it is one of the dreams of mine to pass into when or the United States and to run along the seashore by AJS. But my English is weak.

Had a 62 500 that I got from a rancher who at one time rode it in the Big Bear race in California - had fuel injection, etc........was rather scarey for someone who was used to a Susuki 50 ; but was a blast to ride !!

Great to see a well designed page and enthusiastic owners. I have a 1946 G3L which over the years (I bought it in 1972)has been transformed. It has a 1946 G80 barrel and piston, 1954 G80 alloy head and higher lift cams. Alloy primary chaincase and crankcase from 1957, 12 volt alternator with original rear positioned magneto, AMC gearbox and clutch, late 50s front fork and brake- but everything else is original! I have kept all the original bits. Need clutch plates (slipping) and am fed up with dreadful monobloc Amal- does any one do a Mikuni replacement? Have lots of spares and need some space. Write to me if intereseted. Any other Matchless owners in Spain? "Get out on the highway..."
