Highways and back roads rumble all around Boston on Sunday September 21, 2008. Windows rattle, dogs hide under front porches,
small children are pulled indoors by their moms. It is the invasion of the Euro riders from ten states around headed into
the Larz Anderson Classic in Brookline, Massachusetts.
The ‘Classic is the region’s largest and most prestigious motorcycle
event, now in its fifteenth year. Sponsored by the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, we feature an all-European motorcycle show and
concours, judging, raffles, swap meet, displays, and an all around noisy good time.
Fifteen years ago we first thought it
would be cool to bring riders of all the European marques together. We bring the very newest, most exotic rolling stock European
factories have to offer and pair them with the last ninety years of the best in European motorcycling: restored, unrestored,
riders, racers, rats, tourers, off roaders, sidecar rigs, scooters and everything else we can find. Most bikes ride in- not
in enclosed trailers. We have a show where you can see four Black Shadows, and six feet away, an MV Augusta America , and
behind it a couple of pre war BMW R-12s with Steib sidecars, and behind them an Imola racer , then a BSA Goldstar. We wanted -
and got a field paved with these and their owners.
Come join us on two wheels, or on four. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. See
