Great info site. I have just started to restore an 1930-32 AJS 350 big port. Frame sequence # R107824/ Engine TB6 153717, can anyone tell me if these are corect together as the frame seems to be 1930 and the engine is 1932. Also have T8 frame and forks as spares. The bike is suposed to have not been changed and was in the same family. Chrome tank and oil tank, speedo in tank just need gear lever and foot rests. Also I have a magneto which is similar to the 1929 500 ohc model and a 1932 Douglas I have seen. Any info would be apreciated.
Thanks Dave

I inherited a 1960 Matchless G12 650 that appears to be about 90% original and is in excellent shape. I'm not into motorcycles. Any idea what this thing is worth?

I owned a 1958 350 cc Matchless "one lunger", whilst I was stationed in the US Air Force in southern Italy during 1960-61. Tragically, a friend of mine was killed on this machine while riding under the influence. The machine was damaged beyond repair and I just left it in pieces there on the base in 1961. I remember the motorcycle as being a good performer and very fast. I would love to have a new one just like it today. RLB
