I'm excited to discover the Matchless/AJS website and view the photos. I used to have a Matchless 650cc twin. I'd like to get a little info on the model and year and would appreciate any help members could provide. I seem to recall it was called a "Californian", had a red tank with rubber knee guards (1959 or so?), chrome fenders and supposedly a high performance cam. Does this ring a bell? Thanks. Wish I still had it!
